












































Sponsor a Child Initiative: Transforming Lives in Gwagwalada
On September 9th, 2024, a remarkable event unfolded in the interiors of the Gwagwalada Area Council, FCT. The maiden edition of the Sponsor a Child Initiative was launched through the collaborative efforts of GET International Initiative, Michael Legend Hope & Relief Initiative, and Sabi Qs. This initiative aims to bring hope and educational opportunities to underprivileged children in the region.
Beneficiaries
The Sponsor a Child Initiative proudly supports four villages within Gwagwalada Area Council:
- Kaida Village
- Kutunku Village
- Lukuku Village
- Kpanigo Village
A total of 50 children from these communities were selected as beneficiaries, marking the beginning of a brighter future for them.
Highlights of the Initiative
The initiative includes a comprehensive package designed to address multiple facets of educational needs:
- School Fees: Ensuring that financial barriers do not impede the children’s access to education.
- Uniforms and Academic Supplies: Providing essential items that enable students to focus on learning without the worry of affordability.
